Pop!Tech Teams with Yahoo! to Bring "Pop!Tech 2006: Dangerous Ideas" Conference to the Web



Leading Internet Brand Empowers Free Public Participation in Renowned Thought Leadership Conference


CAMDEN, ME – October 1, 2006  – Pop!Tech, (poptech.org) the eminent thought leadership conference, has teamed with Yahoo!, the world’s leading Internet brand, to provide free, live streaming video of “Pop!Tech 2006: Dangerous Ideas” to anyone with a broadband Internet connection.

From October 19-21, 2006 from 9:00am to 6:30pm ET, anyone with a broadband connection can watch live streams of the conference, powered by Yahoo!, at live.poptech.org, as well as submit questions to the speakers.

The Pop!Tech conference brings 500 world-class thought leaders and innovators in science, technology, industry, the arts, media, culture and politics together for a three-day conversation on the social impact of new technologies and the shape of things to come. The sold-out conference is among the most respected thought-leadership events in the United States.
