Everything print is frog (design) again

Who says print is dead? Not frog design , which just launched Design Mind , a gorgeously-photographed, content-rich new print version of their online magazine for the brainy and stylish.
The debut 60+ page magazine, with the theme “Numbers," goes in depth on topics ranging from slot machines and the human psyche to digital art. Currently, the print magazine is available at frog design studio locations , at conferences and Design Mind events, and at the St. Mark’s bookstore in NYC. The magazine’s previous seven issues (which are available on-line only) are archived on the design mind site. All of the issues, which each have a single, unifying them such as “Health,” “Identity,” or “Green” are visually lush and thought-provoking.
Speaking of green, the magazine is printed on recycled paper. Frog tells me that Design Mind is now the only print collateral that frog will produce: they’re eliminating all marketing and press-style printing in favor of sharing thought-leadership in a format that lends itself to one’s permanent collection.
Frog describes Design Mind as "an extension of their Design Mind platform," which also includes a website and a speaker series. The magazine debuted at an event at NYU, where Arun Chaudhary, video director for the Barack Obama campaign, was interviewed by Ellen McGirt, a Senior Writer for Fast Company . Frog design has been a long-time leader and forward-thinker in design and social change. They are also a key Pop!Tech partner and part of the core team working on Project Masiluleke — an interdisciplinary initiative, born from the Pop!Tech Accelerator program, that utilizes mobile devices to help address the issue of HIV and TB in South Africa. More details on this project and how frog is helping to literally shape its direction in upcoming weeks.
