As we announced earlier this week, John Legend recently joined the Pop!Tech Board of Directors. John’s a five-time Grammy Award-winning R&B singer, songwriter and pianist and founder of “The Show Me Campaign” working to eradicate extreme poverty in Tanzania.

We’ve just found out that the video for his beautiful song “Show Me” is in the longlist for an MTV Video Music Award. This year, MTV is allowing fans to help decide who’s nominated by allowing them a single vote for their favorite artist in each category. We’d love it if Pop!Tech blog readers would show their support for John and help promote his work to eradicate poverty.
