Play the universe
Space just got more interesting: Universe Sandbox is a great program that lets you experiment with whole solar systems. One forum commenter says that “as a physics graduate this is possibly the coolest thing I have ever downloaded” - watch the video and you’ll see why:
The software is Windows only, and it isn’t free - but it’s been made available by creator Dan Dixon on a ‘pay what you think it’s worth’ basis. Hey, it worked for Radiohead, didn’t it?
