Day 1 - Blog Wrap Up

October 18th, 2007 by June · 5 Comments

The sun has set on Day 1 of Pop!Tech 2007, and it was a beautiful day in Camden. The final session is up online right now, with Sheila Kennedy presenting on a sustainable tomorrow.

But I am certain the there will be a lot of action in the blogosphere with the amazing bloggers we have in attendance and equally amazing ones writing from off-site.

Here is a run down of some of the postings that we’ve found. If you have blogged about Pop!Tech and I haven’t caught your post yet, please add it by leaving a comment on the blog! And thank you for being a part of the online Pop!Tech Community.

any idea if Tom’s talk, since it was off the main program, will be made into a Pop!Cast?

Good question. I don’t think the Wed Sessions were filmed. I wish it had been though!

The folks at WholeWheatRadio.com have been leaving the chat room for hours at a time to watch the wonderful livecast, bringing back excited tidbits to the ongoing discussion there. The coming week will be filled with reactions, reflections and more.

As I post the daily schedule on my Think Big Erie blog, http://www.globalerie.com/vanamburg, I get emails, calls and IMs from happy readers. We’ll continue the discussions at regional conferences over the coming year.

You have done a great service to so many by opening up PopTech. Your actions will reverberate for months and more. Thanks so much. May your dreams and goals be fulfilled.
